About CHILL BENJI

You’ve heard of Benjamin Franklin — revolutionary, wordsmith, dudebro on the $100. But what about Chill Benji? His alter-ego and Floundering Father, who left that toxic political mess for the chill life.

Well known for his scientific mind, Chill Benji basically created working from home. He invented bifocals, essential oils, and the expression ‘Let’s go see the Opera and Chill’. He also invented the lightening rod, which was decidedly not very chill.

Fried on the whole invention thing (in more ways than one), he decided to try his hand as a travel influencer. Back in the day that meant first class passage on a ship and a column in the Philadelphia Daily Eagle to write about it. But because of his megawatt celebrity status, he was very easily recognized in public, and special treatment ruined the vérité which he aspired to write with. Luckily, Chill Benji was a bit of a fashionista. He always travelled with a variety of fresh outfits and accessories to keep his true identity in disguise, while also allowing him to look fabulous.

On one of his many sojourns, Chill Benji visited Germany. It was there where he came across a German Shepherd puppy dog, who seemed to be a stray, with no one around to claim or care for him. The dog was running around with a few other strays. But when we say running, we really mean loafing. He let the other dogs in the pack do the scavenging for food and then moseyed on up to graze on whatever they pulled in. How chill!

Chill Benji fell in love with the little moocher pup and decided to adopt him! He didn’t know what to call him yet, so until he made it back home, he just called him ‘GSD’, short for German Shepherd Dog. He’ll think of a better name later, but like, what’s the rush? The two continued traveling their way back to the U.S. sharing Weisswurst sausages and napping on ornate day beds. What a chill life!
